Prof. Myriam Blais


Myriam Blais is full professor in architecture at Université Laval (Québec, Canada), as well as a registered architect (OAQ), and holds degrees form Université Laval (B.Arch 1983; M.Arch 1987), and the University of Pennsylvania (Ph.D 1994).

She teaches undergraduate and graduate studios, architectural theories, research methods, and thesis projects.

Her research interests focus on the theories and philosophy of representation, on the poetical and ethical role of technology in architecture, and on the figurative potential of materials.
